Between Coast and Stone traces a journey from California's coastline to the granite valleys of Yosemite, but it's less about the places themselves than our place within them. Throughout the series, people appear only briefly. Fleeting against landscapes shaped over spans far beyond a human life. Working with Kodak Gold 200 and the Ektar H35 slowed the act of photographing. Each exposure became a deliberate decision, a conversation between light and time. These photographs are not intended as records of destinations, but as reflections on presence, memory, and scale. That stays true to what the photos are inviting me to feel.
